The Project

For this project, we had to make an 18x24 colored pencil drawing. We had to pick a theme for it and cover the whole page.

The Process

I decided to make the drawing have a retro diner theme. I wanted to incorporate all the things I think of when I picture a retro diner; jukebox, vinyl records, neon diner sign, banana split, a road sign, and a big hamburger. I wanted it to be visually interesting and feel chaotic because diners usually are.
